Applications must be submitted to the Director General of the Faculty/Head of Department/Executive Director of the Institute in the format required for applications in the field of continuing education programme (B/12.7 for scientific staff and B/12.8 for professional staff). The Director General of the Faculty / Head of Department / Executive Director of the Institute will address the request to the competent Vocational Training Committee if necessary. It is recognised that scientific staff work in the following areas: (g) A flexible working arrangement may be amended by mutual agreement or recruited by the supervisor or staff after consultation with all relevant staff. Under these conditions, there will be a reasonable period of notice, but no later than four (4) weeks before the start of a change in working time. Academic staff below the principal`s level work under the direction of their principal and have overall responsibility for carrying out the assigned tasks in the interest of maintaining the efficiency of the operation of the QUTs. The tasks and workload of a member of the scientific staff are defined by the principal of the school after consultation with the staff.
